For about a year, OKARGO has been offering its clients “suggested rates” – indicative information on rough price level for requested routes based on mass-data from OKARGO’s database. If you receive a request for quotation for a route you have not covered before and for which you currently have no rates uploaded in your OKARGO account, it only takes a few clicks to get a “rough” informative rate for such a route. That allows you quickly give the client an approximate cost estimation even before you receive a definite answer from the carrier. These “average” rates are automatically calculated from the mass-data available using a sophisticated algorithm developed by OKARGO. Although these rates, as their label indicates, do not represent real rates that you can book with carriers, we now can guarantee, thanks to recent enhancement of the calculation algorithm, that the actual final rate confirmed by the carrier will not be higher than the rate suggested by the OKARGO system. In fact, we stand by our suggested rates to such an extent that we commit to cover the difference between the suggested rate and the actual rate should such occur.
We stand by our suggested rates
